  <body>Today this biblical term would be called &quot;mentoring&quot; or &quot;coaching.&quot; Just as new employees receive &quot;on the job training,&quot; disciples can be mentored in the Christian faith &#8211; learning while living out their faith. Discipleship is learning from those who have been growing and experiencing the Christian life and are now able to lead others into a deeper relationship with God.

Through the years many have participated in these discipleship groups and have borne testimony to how the Lord has transformed their lives. It is the small group facet of the Bible teaching that makes real the biblical principles that are being learned. This atmosphere provides a &quot;safe place&quot; in which to ask questions, share one's life, and receive support from others walking through similar situations. It parallels the method the Lord Jesus used to nurture His disciples, strengthening them in the knowledge of God and modeling life in the Spirit. The goal is to have our lives transformed so we can live out God's truth so that others will see Jesus through us.

The process of discipleship upheld in the Ariel teachings includes the following 5 components:

* Prayer
* Worship
* Teaching
* Small Group Process
